Last week at the People's Climate March in Edmonton, Canada there was a tremendous turn out of people to show their support for reforms to help save our planet.

When local activists approached the organizers to speak about the devastating impacts of animal agriculture on climate and the larger environment, they were denied the ability to. The organizers only wanted to focus on oil and gas, the safe climate topics and not "switch focus" to address personal behaviors that can actually make difference.

An activist, inspired by Cowspiracy,  took matters into her own hands and reached out to her community. An hour before the rally several impassioned demonstrators suited up in cow costumes, and made an abundance of signs with statistics and a large banner stating the devastating effects of the animal agriculture industry.

Together they marched up to the crowd, through the masses, and to the very front chanting, "GO! ... VEGAN! ... GO! ... VEGAN!"

"Everyone stopped to look." [she] explained excitedly. "We could not be missed. Our message was impossible not to hear."

Demonstrators around the world have been taking to the streets and raising awareness about the most destructive industry facing the planet today, animal agriculture.

What have you been inspired to do?
